Last week,The Swingin’ Stewardesses Chinese game developer Seasun Games unveiled a new gameplay demo of its sci-fi action game Mecha BREAK, making it the first game worldwide to showcase NVIDIA’s ACE digital human technology at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany. Seasun CEO Guo Weiwei demonstrated this feature by interacting with an in-game mechanic (AI NPC) through conversation, assisting players in customizing their mecha’s appearance and providing combat advice. Guo Weiwei also attended Gamescom’s Microsoft booth, where he was joined by Microsoft Gaming President Phil Spencer for a group photo. Mecha BREAK will be showcased at the 2024 Tokyo Game Show this September, as the company announced at the five-day gaming event. Currently, global pre-registrations for this new game have surpassed 2.7 million, with an estimated launch date set for next year. [GameLook, in Chinese]
