A cursed image of well, of something, has been making the rounds on Twitter recently. Upon first glance, it seems to be a hodgepodge of items. Stare at it for more than a couple of seconds, though, and it quickly descends into murkier territory.

The caption is a simple challenge: "Name one thing in this photo." Except it's not easy. It's a game that sets you up to fail.

My guess? It's a botched panoramic photo of a pile of junk and whoever originally posted it is laughing heartily somewhere, surrounded by stuffed foxes and biblical jewelry displays. Those are jewelry displays, right?!

One user came up with a more realistic rendering of the photo, which gave me at least five seconds of relief.

A TinEye photo search of 35.6 billion images couldn't locate the mind-bending pic:

A Google image search proved to be a little more helpful, and we managed to trace the image back to Jan. 2019, where it was posted without context on 4chan as a cursed image. Given its quality, however, the photo is likely older.

One Redditor claimed the photo is "is designed to give the viewer the simulated experience of having a stroke" in the subreddit r/interestingasfuck on Tuesday, though it's unclear if that's actually true.

All I know is that pouring over the pages ofI Spy as a kid never could have prepared me to see that.
