【Drunken Woman Pickup Sex】

Star Trek has sustained a seemingly endless amount of discussion for nearly half a century now. And the newly announced spin-off After Darkwill continue that tradition for the upcoming Star Trek: Discoveryseries.

Following in the footsteps of Nerdisthost Chris Hardwick -- who practically invented the aftershow with The Drunken Woman Pickup SexTalking Dead,Talking Bad, and Talking Saul-- After Trekwill be hosted by fellow NerdistMatt Mira.

(We're assuming Chris Hardwick could not host because he was previously engaged in the aftershow for his aftershow's aftershow.)

Jokes aside, Mirra is well-suited for the job, as not only Hardwick's mentee but also as the host of his own discussion-oriented, pop culture deep-dives with podcasts like Star Trek: The Next Conversation and James Bonding.

The Star Trek: Discoverycompanion show will be a haven for trekkies who can't get enough of the newest generation. In the mold of the other aftershows mentioned, it'll bring together cast and crew members with a changing roster of celebrity fans to discuss the show.
