For nearly 50 years,Dear Utol (2025): Catfish Episode 46 Robert Morin worked quietly at the library of the University of New Hampshire (UNH).

He passed away a little over a year ago at the age of 77, and to the surprise of many, Morin left a small fortune to his employer and alma mater — $4 million to be exact.

He amassed the wealth by steadily working as a cataloguer at UNH’s Dimond Library starting in the 1960s, according to the Union Leader. When he wasn't working, Morin had a passion for reading and watching films. By never going out, driving an old car and eating frozen dinners, he was able to save millions.

"Bob’s demonstrated commitment to UNH through his philanthropy is tremendously inspiring. His generous gift allows us to address a number of university priorities," UNH President Mark Huddleston said in a statement.

At the request of Morin, $100,000 will be used to provide scholarships for students who study library science and to renovate portions of the library.

Additionally, the school reports, $2.5 million will be used to expand a career center, and $1 million for a video scoreboard in the university's new football stadium.

"This is an extraordinary gift that comes at a critical time for launching a number of initiatives that are only able to move forward because of his generosity," Deborah Dutton, president of the UNH Foundation, said in a statement.
