He collected his first EGOT in 2014, when he scored his first Best Original Song win for "Let It Go" from Frozen. At the time, he was only the 12th person ever to win an EGOT, and the fastest EGOT winner in history – it took him just 10 years to get from the first prize to the fourth.
Lopez's non-Oscar wins are two Daytime Emmys in 2008 and 2010 for Wonder Pets; one Grammy in 2012 for The Book of Mormonand two more in 2015 for Frozen; and a first Tony in 2004 for Avenue Qand two more in 2011 for The Book of Mormon.
If you're counting, yes, that means he's just one Emmy and one Oscar away from a tripleEGOT. Seeing as he's only 43, he's young enough that he might just get it someday.
