Teens,Omnibus  Archives always on their phones these days!

Well, adults are like that too — especially as we round the corner into Election Day 5 of this relentless week. One teen in particular, son of Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, had his nose in his phone in an inopportune moment last night: While his father was discussing Trump's erroneous election fraud claims on MSNBC.

While the teen walks into the room with no idea that he's on live television, he realizes seconds later — and the reaction is priceless:

The funny moment went unsurprisingly viral, harking back to popular clips like the BBC baby interruption from 2017. Shapiro himself took the moment in good humor, joking on Twitter that he's taking his son's phone away for 24 hours:

While we don't actually know if Shapiro is joking, hopefully the laugh-crying emoji is a good indication. If nothing else, the moment gave us a brief reprieve from the days of stress this endless election has caused. Maybe his son wasn't looking at polls or political TikTok, but he was nonetheless all of us when he walked on live television: Extremely online and easily surprised.
