Exactly one year ago -- one day after being reinstated as CEO -- Twitter cofounder and The Exotic Time Machineproduct visionary Jack Dorsey announced Twitter Moments.

The product, built under the code name Project Lightning, was intended to represent Twitter's future.

"Moments is a bold new experience that I think does question a lot of our fundamentals. Moments is one piece that makes all of Twitter better and easier to understand," Dorsey told investors in October.
