Melbourne comedian Dave Zwolenski, for example, took his obsession with the HBO series to its nerdiest and most awesome level by appropriating the map of Westeros for his hometown of Melbourne.
There are papier–mâché dragon eggs you could make, or even a dragon mobile for that baby you always wanted to terrify. Perhaps consider crocheting your favourite house sigil. The ideas are endless.
3. Meet the cast
If you can't make it to Comic-Con and want to avoid the crowds while saving some coin, head Down Under to meet the cast.
It's not yet set in stone, but events like the Australian Movie and Comic Expo, the Australian International Movie Convention and Australian pop culture expo Supanova are sure to attract at least one Game of Thrones cast member.
Eugene Simon, for example, who plays the defector-turned-Sparrow Lancel Lannister, was in Sydney and Perth for Supernova events in early 2016.
Odds are the events will bring out at least another actor from next year's season, although given their choice of guest this year, it could be someone who will end up being blown up in a sept or murdered by a Stark.

You can catch the boss of us all, Cersei, otherwise known as Lena Headey, in the 2016 Jane Austen adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Maisie Wiliams, or Arya, can be found on her YouTube channel, which documents all the cool things she does like jumping out of airplanes. She also has a seriously superior Instagram account featuring holiday snaps and political activism.
You can find Iain Glen, otherwise known as Ser Jorah, gracing Australian and U.S. screens as media mogul Jarred Slade in the hit dystopian drama series, Cleverman.
Unlike Ser Jorah, Slade is pretty shady and much more powerful than his Westerosi counterpart. It's nice to touch base with our favourite semi-stone, lovelorn suitor. Just to make sure he's doing OK, you know?
